Shows Update: Rescheduling, Cancelling and Updating

Hello friends and fans,

we have made some decisions and we are working on the calendar to save what can be saved, move gigs that can be moved and with sadness in our heart cancelling what can’t be rescheduled.

Don’t worry, we are Blues people. We are strong. And with this “we” I mean you and us. We are all together in this and we are going to raise from the ashes, as the phoneix taught us to do.

Anyway, here is what is happening at the moment I’m writing:

Austrian Bluesharp Meeting?is rescheduled for April 2021. We are going to be part of it and we couldn’t be happier! Thank you Reynhard! We love that, my man!

We are figuring out the gig at?The Topos in Leverkusen, so as soon as we can fix this we’ll tell you the exact date.

September tour, so, is cancelled and we are not performing at Rattlesnake Saloon?and at?Lokaal42. Sorry about this.

Our summer gigs are still confirmed, but as “we sailing in the fog” we’ll stay posted about this…

More news soon! – RG

COVID UPDATE

Livin A Live – Track 4: “Mellow Down Easy”

mellow down easy

“Mellow Down Easy” is what we can consider a Blues standard. A tune that if you play Blues or harmonica you must know. No excuse. Written by Willie Dixon for the great late Little Walter, this is a favorite of a lot of Blues fellows.

BUT as you may know, Riccardo and the band don’t like to follow a standard path (“it’s like doing your homework…you do that but you gotta put something more to excel” is Riccardo’s philosphy on this) and for this reason they started to mess around with Paul Butterfield version.?

This version you are going to listen was a work in progress: if you come to a live concert today, you’ll hear how the band worked on this tune and changed it again from the one recorded here.

That’s the magic of the music: it never stops to flow and it always evolving, right? So enjoy that moment we recorded and – as soon as we can do that again – come to enjoy the new version at one of the shows
